ZORAN VIDAKOVIC – Volleyball coach

I graduated from the University of Sports and Physical Education and have been coaching volleyball since 1993. During 1993 I started to coach girls and established the first women’s volleyball club OK Gacko.  In 1995 we took part in the First Division and by the 2001 we won 3 cups of Republic Srpska and one national championship.

In 2005 I started to work in the newly formed women’s volleyball club in Bileca. In five years I helped the club climb from Second to First Division.  After the unification of volleyball in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with volleyball club “Bileca” we became champions with our both youth and junior teams. During my coaching time in volleyball club “Gacko” we were champions of Republic Serbia with pre youth, youth and junior team.

I worked as a coach and selector of Bosnia and Herzegovina in youth, junior and senior women’s national teams. Since 1997, I have been participating in annual volleyball camps as a coach, and this has continues until today. For the past six years, I have been the president of the Republic Srpska coaching organization.

Although, Coach Sanja's early injury prevented her from expanding her volleyball career, it helped her recognize the desire to teach young generations about the sport she loves. That love she demonstrates with every interaction on and off the court and she is a great resource of knowledge for the technical aspect of the game. Being a club director and responsible for multiple age groups, Coach Sanja has seen it all.
